It's wonderful, I love it. I'm only stuck on how to properly save, it always just starts at new game for me, no continue. Been lookin' all over and can't find the save option. It's likely me, as are most "HOW DO I X" in reviews.

man, this game is just so much fun to make levels on. i'm still hyping on some Crash Creator ideas: Cortex, N. Brio, N. Tropy, N. Gin, Pinstripe Potoroo and Dingodile as enemies, Polar, background trigger blocks, the Crash-looking fish from 3, and hopefully The Quantum Masks as well
Took the time to 100% it and do some custom levels and did not regret it.
Has a few quirks, but they actually make it out to be a unique while familiar crash experience. Even going as far as to teach you some of the unique tech that resulted from this games slight differences in the extra challenges.
This is an amazing little game with endless possibilities due to the custom level editor.

ok i a few months(?) tried out the exclusive (and elusive) mobile version! on my phone! i don't trust apple because they release the same s🗿 every f🎉ing new iFoam they release, which is good because there's no iOS version
right off the bat, the game had mobile controls and the mobile settings tab. this allows you to play the game
- as a youtube short
- upside down
- as a mepipe pants (yt shorts option but upside down)
- downside up
so yeah for some reason the game starts upside down (the bottom of the screen is above the volume n power buttons) and you have to change it every time
i deinstalled it because the text disappeared for some reason so

I just started playing this and it's great! Honestly though, I feel like you could make it your own original game. I do understand that it'd be hard to get all new art and music etc, but I think it would be worth it!
you guys are SO close, some things are still missing tho, for example some classic speedrunning tricks like the high jump(slide+jump+spin) that im not sure if is working, sometimes when i do that i hit an invisible cealing? the slide spin would be very cool to have again too (forward dash+release forward quickly and spin) that were present on crash 2, 3 and kind of came back on crash 4, the ice physics need a lot of work, they're really weird right now, and i could use more checkpoints, would be cool to have the relics back, also an option to have the original ps1 songs would be cool, the gems too i love the ps1 gems, the new ones are very good but don't hit as hard, also if i loose the yellow gem its gone forever? other then that the game is almost perfection on the jump, speed and feeling, i love the attention to details for example being able to spin on the metal jump boxes to stop jumping, the hang time from slide that feels a little buffed like a better version of crash 4 slide, the fact that now you can slide on top of tnt that also is something that was really cool from crash 4 and very welcome here. its so fucking cool to finally have a game that controls this close to how crash should control, this is better then n sane trillogy and better then crash 4, the crash maker is also really fun, i hope someday creating 3d stages can be possible, keep doing a fantastic job guys.
by the way the font looks really blocky because i used aseprite to insert the fonts

i also made this random ukatrial level. attached below are screenshots the start. you double jump across timestoppers i died here lol, you use these switches to advance (you activate one by spinning and doublejumping at the same time and the other with a POW block) nitro ! switches. this level has a gimmick where yeah there's more than 1 nitro ! switch. the end of the level. the inaccessible uka uka was added there for literally no reason. he is completely useless.
i also took a screenshot using the absolute WORST possible settings (apart from the subractive fade, which if put at maximum would've made this image completely black)
Just now got a chance to sit down and play this and as a lifelong Crash fan I am absolutely hooked after just 2 levels...amazing attention to detail and so much PS1 nostalgia and yet fresh new levels. I look forward to playing the rest of it and anything in future updates!
